Biscuit porcelain doll depicting a Pinocchio with the iconic long nose and a brooding expression: we hope this time he may be reflecting on the good fairy’s latest teachings!
The head, arms and legs of this doll are movable.
The hole on the head, due to the production technique, is essential to tie all the parts of the body together (as in the tutorial in the photo) and can be easily covered with hair or a hat hopefully out of breadcrumbs, as in the famous fairy tale.
Height: 32,5 cm
All our dolls are completely handmade in our laboratory in Vicenza (Italy). All the body parts are extracted from plaster molds and inspected one by one, while the last details are shaped in form before the firing, at 1270°C. On the Biscuit all the details are then meticulously painted step by step and with non-toxic colors; the piece finally undergoes a further firing called “third fire” at 980°C.
